Tim Heffelfinger, PGA – Head Golf Professional

Head Golf Professional Tim Heffelfinger, a native of Holland, Ohio, moved to the Columbus area in 2014 and he currently resides in Plain City, Ohio with his wife Britney. Tim is a graduate of the Golf Academy of America in Myrtle Beach, South Carolina and he turned Professional in 2007. In 2014 he was elected as a Class A Member of the Professional Golf Association of America.

Tim began his career at Brandywine Country Club in northwest Ohio and then spent four years as the First Assistant Professional at Belmont Country Club. While there, he sat for two years on the Tournament Committee of the Toledo Chapter PGA. When he came to the Columbus area, Tim spent two years at Tartan Fields Golf Club in Dublin, Ohio, and he has been NorthStar's Head Golf Professional since January 2016.

Tim has considerable experience in tournament operations, merchandising and golf course management, coupled with an extensive teaching background. Through the use of video analysis, players are able to visually see the proper setup, takeaway, impact position and finish to effectively improve the golf swing. As a Titleist Club Fitting Professional he has the tools and experience necessary to help improve your game!

Ryne Kitchen – First Assistant Golf Professional

Ryne grew up in Reynoldsburg, Ohio and he developed an early interest in golf, working summer jobs at Columbus Country Club for 5 years. He went on to The Ohio State University where he played club golf and studied Civil and Environmental Engineering.

Before he came to NorthStar, Ryne worked locally at Muirfield Village Golf Club and Wedgewood Golf and Country Club, as well as Pinnacle Peak Golf Club in Scottsdale, AZ. Ryne has passed his Playing Ability Test and is currently working through the PGM program as he pursues a career as a Class A member of the Professional Golf Association of America.
